Oliver Dalgaard Stidsing Hansen

Oliver works with an intensity that feels less like a decision and more like a natural way of moving through the world. It shows in how he observes, how he questions, and how he builds his work from small, often overlooked details. He designs with the intention of creating a feeling rather than delivering a fixed statement. A garment, for him, should hold attention. It should create a reaction or leave the viewer and wearer with a question they cannot immediately answer. Comfort sits at the core, paired with confidence and often softened by a subtle sense of humour that reveals itself over time rather than all at once. This often results in garments where familiar forms are subtly shifted through construction, material, or detail.

That way of paying attention begins in his process. He approaches his work with a constant need to understand it fully. Everything from construction details, fabrics, silhouettes become something to examine rather than accept. He slows things down by breaking them apart and asking why they exist as they do, and what happens if they change. This level of understanding allows him to move forward with precision once decisions are made and gives clear sense of direction when he moves from idea to garment.
