My name is Phat, I’m 24, and I’m from Vietnam. Before starting at this school, I was just someone with a big dream, but no real experience in design.

I think I’ve always been drawn to meaning and storytelling, even before I had the skills to express it. Now, as I learn, I find myself starting from research of history and culture. I find inspiration from my roots and memories. I question it, reshape it, and try to make it my own.

I tend to work by refining and simplifying a lot. I cut things away until it feels clear and right. I care about direction and intention, why something looks the way it does, not just how it looks.
